Wow, what a great night! This is the first reunion I attended, and I'm sorry I haven't been to all of them. Joan Anton

Bert Diamond here. My first posting on this blog. I really appreciate reading some of the other entries. Thanks to Mimi Shapiro for persevering and finally getting a hold of me on the phone……I been living in Portland Oregon (35 years) with my wife and two grown up kids. Empty nesting is great! I’m a middle school engineering teacher and play in three bands a few nights a week. I went to Solis Cohen and then of course Wilson Jr. High. My friends at Northeast were Sue Freimark, Bruce Cohen, Richie Cutler, Warren Rosen (a year older), Larry Bernstein, Sid Bernstein, Elliot Rappaport, Eric Ferleger (spelling), and some other guys. I took the bus to Gratz College. (Where is that yearbook to look up the names?)………..I am debating whether to fly in October for the 40th reunion. Who is going to be there and what are the activities? ………Signed: - Reunion Newby-
Hey Bert,
I remember you from Solis Cohen elementary school. It's great to hear from you again. I can answer your questions regarding the reunion. Many classmates will be there. According to statistics, the 40th reunion is one of the most well attended. Our limit is 330 tickets so please register early. We had 274 at our 30 year reunion and 232 at our 35 year reunion. The list of attendees for both reunions is included on our website. The activities include registration, cocktails, Hor D'ouevres delivered butler white glove style, Dinner buffet, Class Photograph, an encore performance by our class of '69 band "Not Collidge Mateerial", dancing, reminiscing with friends and classmates, playing "guess that classmate after looking at photo nametags, etc. etc. Everyone will have a good time. Please join us. We really want to see you again!
